What a good plan review actually looks like
Plan review season is stressful for a lot of participants — not because the goals have changed, but because the process of proving they still need support can feel like starting from scratch.
With this participant, we spent two sessions beforehand just talking through what had actually changed in her life over the past twelve months: a new part-time job, a falling-out with a previous provider, a goal she'd quietly given up on because the old plan didn't fund it.
We wrote all of that down in her words, not ours, and brought it into the review as evidence — not as a complaint, just as the real picture.
The outcome wasn't dramatic. Funding stayed roughly the same. But for the first time she said the plan actually matched the life she was living.

Going through a plan review right now, this is genuinely useful to read beforehand.
