Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 October 2026

World Class Disability Services ("WCD Services", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988, Cth).

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us directly, through the enquiry, referral, report and support work application forms, our chat assistant, or by creating an account. Depending on which form you use, this can include:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • For referrals: the participant's name, date of birth, NDIS number, address, plan details, and support needs — information that can reveal a disability, which is "sensitive information" under the Privacy Act and gets handled with extra care
  • Any message, report details or application details you choose to write
  • For support work applications and referral document uploads: the file name(s) of anything you attach — the files themselves aren't sent to us through the form; we may follow up separately to request them
  • Basic device/browser information needed to keep a form, chat session or account working on this device (see Cookies below)

How your information is used

Form submissions (enquiries, referrals, reports and support work applications) are sent directly to our team by email through EmailJS, a third-party email delivery service, so we can respond to you or process your referral, report or application.

We don't use your information for marketing without your consent, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

Third-party services

We use EmailJS to deliver form submissions from your browser to our team's inbox. EmailJS processes the content of your submission in order to send that email — it does not receive any separate tracking or advertising data from this site. We don't use advertising networks, ad pixels or third-party analytics trackers on this site.

Cookies

This site uses essential cookies only — to keep a form's progress, your chat session, your account, and whether you've already seen a one-time notice like this one, on this device. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Sensitive information in referrals

A referral can include health or disability-related details about a participant, submitted either by the participant themselves or by someone referring them. We only use that information to assess and respond to the referral, and we only ask the referrer to confirm they have the participant's consent to share it before it's submitted.

Data storage and security

Form submissions are sent by email and handled by our team through standard email security. We don't currently operate a separate database — account details, draft form progress and chat history live only in your own browser's storage on your device, and aren't transmitted anywhere until you submit a form.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a concern about how it's been handled. Contact us using the details below.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes — for example, if we introduce a backend database for forms or accounts in future. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
