We bundle our everyday support work into one role rather than four, because most participants need a mix of it across their week — and most workers end up good at more than one part. You'll be matched to the areas you're skilled and comfortable with, whether that's getting someone out to the things they enjoy, keeping a household running, personal care with dignity, or driving them where they need to be.
What you'll do
- Support 1:1 community outings — recreation, shopping, social events
- Help with housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation
- Assist with showering, grooming, dressing and mobility where trained
- Drive participants to appointments, activities and errands in your own vehicle where required
- Follow individual support plans and encourage independence throughout
- Report any incidents or concerns promptly and keep documentation current
What you'll need
- Experience supporting people with disability (paid or informal)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Certificate III in Individual Support desirable, not essential
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate — essential for personal care shifts, desirable otherwise
- Manual handling / hoist training for personal care shifts (or willing to complete)
- Own reliable, insured vehicle and current licence for transport and community access shifts
- Type
- Casual & Part-time
- Shift pattern
- Flexible — mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends across Sydney, matched to your availability and the tasks you're confident with
